A hospitality space shaped by community, urban energy and the encounter between New Orleans and Mexican tradition. A front bar and open kitchen form the operational heart of a warm, dynamic and distinctly social environment.
CARNALITO is conceived around hospitality, closeness and community. The project brings together references from Mexican popular culture, the multicultural character of New Orleans and a subtle retro sensibility to create an energetic and informal urban experience.
A central operational core organizes the space through the front bar and open kitchen, making food preparation and the maestro taquero part of the experience. Standing counters, tiered seating and different ways of occupying the space reinforce its social character. PLASMA developed the interior design and architecture, while NODO executed its production and construction.
