The challenge for Tecnigrifos was clear: their showroom, strategically located within IDEO—a prominent construction business hub in Medellín—felt outdated and lacked a cohesive exhibit strategy. With a vast array of products and a disorganized layout, their high-quality items were getting lost. Poor lighting, ineffective display methods, and an inefficient distribution system were evident, directly impacting customer experience and the brand’s potential.
PlasmaNodo embraced this challenge with a singular goal: to revitalize Tecnigrifos’ brand image, bringing their showroom firmly into the present. Our design proposal focused on creating a space where every faucet and accessory would be a work of art, highlighting its importance and value. We aimed not only to resolve the functional and aesthetic deficiencies but also to craft an inviting, easy-to-navigate environment for customers, and an efficient workspace for the Tecnigrifos team.
Our furniture design and production process centered on innovative solutions for both display and atmosphere. We developed a centralized exhibit that intuitively organizes and prioritizes product collections, ensuring clear visibility for all items. We completely redesigned the lighting scheme, transitioning from inadequate illumination to precise lighting that accentuates the textures and finishes of each product, creating focal points that guide the customer’s eye. This intentional use of light, combined with a careful selection of contemporary materials and finishes, radically transformed the showroom’s ambiance, imbuing it with a modernity and sophistication it previously lacked. The space’s layout was optimized to improve customer flow and facilitate interaction with the product catalog.
The impact of our intervention was immediate. The Tecnigrifos store at IDEO has been transformed into a cutting-edge space where the modernity of the design and the clarity of the exhibits actively invite customers to explore the catalog. Products that once blended into the background now stand out, effectively communicating the quality and design that Tecnigrifos represents. PlasmaNodo not only optimized the showroom’s functionality but also reinforced the brand’s identity, creating an environment that enhances the purchasing experience and positions Tecnigrifos as a leader in its industry.
