La Miguería – Los Molinos

Quick Bites and Great Vibes

The challenge for La Miguería at Los Molinos shopping mall was a unique one: they wanted to use a tricky spot right under a staircase, which usually has awkward shapes. The goal was simple: make it super easy for customers to grab their popular breads and cakes quickly, and also create a small, comfy place where people could sit down and enjoy their treats right away, without having to go to the food court. Turning this odd corner into a fast, inviting sales spot was key.

At PlasmaNodo, we took on this challenge with a clear aim: design a space that, despite its quirks, still felt just like La Miguería. We wanted sales to flow smoothly and for people to feel right at home, just like in any of their other locations. Our goal was to turn that tricky space into a chance to be creative and connect better with customers.

To do this, we blended La Miguería’s classic look with some fresh touches. We brought in metal in the brand’s signature blue as a new element, mixing it with warm wood and lots of plants—which are always a big part of La Miguería’s projects.

This gave the Los Molinos spot, which has been open for about seven years, a fresh, modern feel. Plus, these designs let us create unique shapes that made the most of every inch under the staircase. The benches, for example, are set up perfectly to invite people to take a quick break and enjoy their purchase on the spot.

“Good interior design significantly influences customer satisfaction, which translates into positive reviews and returning guests”

The result is a “Bread Spot” that’s better than expected. Sales are quicker, and the vibe makes you want to stay, even though it’s small. PlasmaNodo’s design didn’t just fix the space issues; it also made customer flow smoother and boosted La Miguería’s brand recognition. This new setup at Los Molinos improves the customer experience and fits right in with the brand’s newest locations.
