An apartment in Castropol designed for different stages of life: understated, functional spaces for one person or a small family.
A friend and client of the studio commissioned us to redesign the interior of an apartment he had purchased in Castropol, Medellín. Our conversations led to a simple intention: an understated, clear and functional home that could accommodate different ways of living.
The project needed to work for someone living alone and also for a possible small family. This guided the design of the spaces and furniture: a home that responded to the present without being tied to a single stage of life.
PLASMA developed the interior architecture and furniture design for the 250 m² apartment. Our search for elegance was closely linked to the clarity of the overall design and everyday comfort.
