The redesign of Tamara Brazdys’s shop began with understanding how she creates. Her writing, drawings and personal references became the starting point for a space that tells the story behind her shoes.

The redesign of Tamara Brazdys’s shop began with understanding how she creates. Her writing, drawings and personal references became the starting point for a space that tells the story behind her shoes.
Pages, sketches and books that have accompanied her are incorporated into the walls as part of the design process. The floor brings together colours connected to the places and moments that inspire her collections: the beach, mountains, woods, rain, night and sun.
A timber structure wraps the interior. Its geometry draws on the microscopic structure of skin and connects the different parts of the shop. The wood’s natural tone and irregularities bring warmth and texture.
The floor tiles were handmade by local craftspeople. The timber comes from forest plantations, and the stone was selected together with Tamara, with careful consideration of its arrangement. PLASMA developed the interior architecture and furniture; NODO carried out production and installation.
