A family home in the Colseguros building in Conquistadores, offering the opportunity to work within a part of Medellín's residential history.
The Colseguros building stands in Conquistadores, one of our favourite neighbourhoods in Medellín, surrounded by parks, theatres and neighbourhood life. Receiving a commission here meant working in a building that forms part of the city's architectural memory.
The 210 m² apartment needed to respond to the life of a young couple and their daughter. Interior architecture and furniture were approached as parts of a single home, with spaces to share and others for concentration or rest.
The proposal brings together wood, warm tones, work areas and places to gather. PLASMA developed the interior architecture and furniture design, and NODO was responsible for production. This is a type of commission we particularly value: working with existing architecture to accommodate a new chapter of family life.
