Cabañas La Niebla
Santa Elena, Antioquia, Colombia
Living in the forest through quiet observation. La Niebla brings together raised cabins in Santa Elena, positioned in response to the terrain and the existing trees. The project was developed jointly by PLASMA and Santiago Arenas, with production and installation by NODO.
Timber shapes both the structure and the interior experience. Outside, a dark finish reveals the wood grain and draws the buildings into the shadows of the landscape, while varied roof heights follow the arrangement of the modules.
Windows, niches and terraces frame views of the forest and its changing light and weather. Inside, a restrained palette of materials and furniture keeps attention on the surroundings. Outdoor spaces extend that relationship, creating places to pause, rest and spend time among the planting.
