9¾ Bookstore + Café
Alto de Las Palmas, Medellín, Colombia
A bookstore and café for reading, conversation and time together as a family. At 9¾, spaces for adults and children meet around books, with interior design, furniture and brand identity by PLASMA and production and installation by NODO.
The project combines shared tables with quieter reading corners. For children, the niches become small places to step into, play and discover a book. For adults, the café and varied seating invite a longer stay.
Timber, bookshelves and decorative lighting by Vidaútil connect these settings. The bookstore works as a meeting place: books are present throughout, while every visitor can find their own way to approach them.
